P.R.I.S.M. stands for: Paranormal Research and Investigation Society of Manitoba (c)

We are proud to be Manitoba's largest Paranormal Group in the Province. 

Formerly known as the 'winnipeg ghost trackers' (c), we have grown and expanded developing into a Provincially known group both inside the province and outside. Founded in 2004, Our main focus remains here in Manitoba's haunted past and history.

We are a private paranormal society, that welcomes new members, but choses not to partner up with any other paranormal group in Winnipeg Mb. This prevents complications on who owns photos from  invstigations,  findings,  data taken, and so forth.  We like to keep our name and image clean, and by remaining private, we have maintained good standing and are respected in this Province when we head out to locations on events, tours, and investigations.  

 

Our motto is: Expect the Unexpected. We can't promise to show you a ghost, but we track anything from the realm of the unknown; ghosts, UFO's, even bigfoot, or the Lake Manitoba monster. If you've experienced something paranormal, or just want to learn about local ghosts and hauntings, this is Manitoba's group for you."

As to who we are,  We are friendly normal every day people just like you, who love the unexplained, and the mystery of 'the other side'.  We are the same people who sit beside you at work, we could be your homeroom teacher, your aerobics instructor, members on the PTA committee at school, your boss, your friend from church - and so on. But most importantly, we are a group who over the years have become great friends as well.

Getting together as a group to go on ghost hunts, tours, and investigations to supossed haunted locations who want to find proof one way or the other of "the other side" and experiencing it is also not only life changing and educational, but it's entertaining as well.

Being able to have a friendly debate in topics such as 'reincarnation', or debate wether 'ectoplasm' is real, and to just be able to discuss so openly about all 'tabu' topics be it spiritual, or paranormal, that one can't usually just bring up in daily conversation - is what we are about.

Finding proof of the paranormal, and also experiencing it is also quite the bonus! We are opening our minds to more possibilites "out there" than what the eye can see, and often times we all come out of it with a different experience, but always a possitive one.

Welcome to PRISM! Another year has now begun, and I am excited to welcome you to another year in PRISM. We are now enjoying our 6-th year together as a group, new and old member alike! Happy 6-th Anniversary all!

If you are new, or have just stumbled upon this site, I welcome you to join this website to chat with us and join us as we plan our next events! All are welcome!

Please note that when you apply to the site, it will take a few days for your membership to be approved, not due to screening, but rather due to processing the request. I thank you for your patience!

I am pleased with how last years events, outings, investigations, and meetings turned out. Thank you to all who came out, whether it was to an investigation, tour, or event. We had a great time and I am excited to see what 2010 will bring!

Now that the new year has slowly started in - new fun and serious events, outings and hunts are being planned. I look forward to this new season infront of us. My hope is that this will be our biggest and most eventful year yet! So much is being planned, so please stay tuned to the event calendar and forum, and feel welcome to join in!
